Holiday Gift Guide 2022: For the Host & Hostess

Gift Guides

Let the holiday season commence! As we put away the Halloween costumes and recover from eating too much candy, the hosts and hostesses in our lives are already planning their seasonal gatherings. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite affordable (and practical!) host and hostess gift ideas so, as the invites start to roll in, you won’t have to think twice about what to get the person who knows how to throw a great party!

1. Embroidered Cocktail Napkins

Cocktail napkins are such a fun way to add flare to any party festivities! I love these embroidered ski & snow bunnies. Check out Belle Linen’s Etsy shop for more embroidered linens.

2. Electric Balloon Pump

Balloon garland’s are next level party decor, and having a balloon pump is truly a life saver when you have to blow up hundreds of balloons. This would make a fun gift for the host or hostess who seems to have it all!

3. Sandstone Coasters

These are our favorite coasters! They absorb the condensation from cold drinks so you’re never left with a puddle.

4. Hatch Short Cocktail Glasses

I love collecting unique cocktail glasses. What better way to serve drinks than in a beautiful glass? Like this style but looking for a different size? Check out the whole Hatch Collection at Crate & Barrel.

5. Williams Sonoma x Morris & Co. Cotton Napkins

These napkins would make a splash on any table setting. The pattern is to die for and they can be enjoyed over and over again!

6. Glass Bedside Carafe

I’ve always enjoyed making my guests overnight experience fabulous. This carafe is a cute addition to the guest room night stand. No more tripping down the stairs in the middle of the night for a sip of water!

7. Debatable Game

This is a great way to kick start conversation at any gathering. I bought this for Matt last Christmas and we’ve even enjoyed playing when we make dinner together or with friends from afar over video chat!

8. Drink Shaker

We’ve gone through many shakers trying to find the best one that doesn’t leak and this is it! There are a ton of color options and the seal is excellent so you don’t have to worry about losing liquid when you’re whipping up drinks!

9. Small Marble Serving Bowl

I don’t believe there is such a thing as having too many bowls. There are so many ways to use them! This marble bowl is a great size for serving condiments, dips or small snacks.

10. Glass Wine Bucket

Chill wine and beverages in style with this beautiful glass bucket. It works with any decor style and I love that it shows off the bottle inside. This is especially great for outdoor entertainers so guests can have a cool drink right at their fingertips!

11. Porcelain Teaspoons

Pair these with a cute set of bowls or a beautiful serving board and you’ve just taken your giftee’s charcuterie game up a notch!

12. Murder Most Puzzling

I bought this last year for each of my family members and we scheduled weekly phone calls to solve a case together. Not only was it nice to have a regular get together to look forward to but the puzzles were an absolute blast. Highly recommend for gatherings in-person or virtual!

13. Fizz Cocktails & Mocktails Book

Sharing and discovering new drink recipes is always a blast. Whether your giftee prefers cocktails or mocktails, this book has it all and looks pretty on display!

14. Marble Serving Board

This marble surface can be used for charcuterie or as a tray for displaying decor. The natural texture adds a beautiful, elevated look to any entertainer’s home!
